"Procrastination is the enemy of success"
I'm not sure who originally said this, but it fits me perfectly - without a deadline, things may never get done!
- Which may be fine if I was working in a 9 - 5 job ... but it's 2020, the COVID-19 Pandemic has closed down all of my usual workplaces, and I've been trying to generate an income online. It's way outside of my comfort zone and I'm constantly putting off the things I NEED to do!
There are 'Internet Gurus' who advise scheduling, making lists, only doing those things that cause you to advance ... But that is pretty difficult when you are trying to juggle an abnormal life with an incredibly steep learning curve!
Then we're told - 'Perfection is the enemy of Progress' (attributed to Sir Winston Churchill)
To just get started, regardless of if it's right - if you can’t achieve perfection, Go for good instead!
But after a career when perfect was a requirement - it's hard to change your standards!
So - One Day at a time ... baby steps - at the moment I'm still learning to crawl!
